Brief: To create a limited edition can design, out of home applications and merchandise designs, for tequila seltzer drink, Casatera.  The illustrations had to reflect the Mexican roots of the tequila, while being designed for an American audience.

 My design: a vibrant, Palm Springs inspired design full of holiday vibes at the pool; with the shadow of the town of Tequila in the background and a Papel Picado* arch around the logo; a harmony of tradition and new.

 * Papel picado is a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of tissue paper.
